Hyderabad: A man involved in a rape case was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment by a court in Nalgonda on Tuesday. The court also imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 on him.
Neelagiri Narsaiah (30), a labourer, had raped a woman on the banks of the Musi river under the Mothkur police station in Yadagirigutta in October 2011 while she was on way to her agriculture farm located on the outskirts of her village.
The police arrested Narsiah and after trial, the court sentenced him to 10 years of imprisonment.
