Nara Lokesh Pay Tribute To NTR

Amaravati, Jan.18 (Maxim News): TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh today paid tributes to TDP founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao on the occasion of the latter’s 26th death anniversary.

He asserted that honesty, selflessness and fearlessness were the weapons used by NTR in his struggle for self-respect and self-rule. Following in his footsteps, the same weapons should be used now to re-establish a truly egalitarian welfare state, he said.

In a statement here, the TDP MLC stressed the need for reclaiming an equal and free society which would be devoid of robbers, looters and arrogant rulers. NTR took many bold decisions and successfully overcame the most critical challenges during his time.

He pointed out that the credit for bringing in historic reforms in AP would go to the NTR regime. This was one of the many reasons why he was always called ‘Teluguvari muddu bidda’ (foster son of Telugus), he said while noting that NTR stood like a pillar of inspiration as he turned every challenge into a victory with his hard work and determination.
