Nathwani Thanks Jagan For Nominating Him To RS

Hyderabad, March 10 (Maxim News): YSR Congress Party said names of Mopidevi Venkatramana, Pilli Subhash Chandrabose, Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy and Parimal Nathvani as its candidates for Rajya Sabha elections.

Parimal Nathwani profusely thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for nominating him as a Rajya Sabha candidate for the upcoming elections. “I sincerely thank Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party for considering me as their Rajya Sabha candidate from Andhra Pradesh. I committed to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh”, Nathvani said in a twitter.

Nathwani was twice elected as Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand as an independent — once in 2008 and again in 2014. He is the Group President of the Reliance Industries Limited and a confidant of Mukesh Ambani. A two-time Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand, Parimal Nathwani will be retiring from the Upper House of Parliament from Jharkhand on April 9. With Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy offering him a seat from AP, will pave way for Nathwani to get elected for the third term.

Recently, RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani, accompanied by his son Anant and Parimal Nathwani, met Jagan Mohan Reddy at the latter’s residence in Amaravati. (Maxim News)
