NCC Annual Training Camp By Telangana Artillery Battery At MANUU

Hyderabad: The Telangana Artillery Battery NCC Unit, under Hyderabad Group, is commencing its Annual Training Camp (ATC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Gachibowli, Hyderabad, from 26th May to 4th June 2025. This intensive 10-day camp is being conducted under the dynamic supervision of Camp Commandant Col. Ravindra Rao.

Approximately 600 NCC cadets, both boys and girls from various educational institutions, will participate in the camp. They will be guided and trained by a team of 10 Army PI Staff and 10 Associate NCC Officers (ANOs).

The camp is being organized with the wholehearted support of Padma Shri Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar, who have ensured all necessary facilities including accommodation, mess, water, and medical support for the cadets.

The cadets will be undergoing rigorous training in drill, physical fitness, map reading, weapon training (without arms), first aid, disaster management, and basic field craft. Sessions on leadership development, personality grooming, and social service are also being conducted to promote the NCC motto – “Unity and Discipline.”

This camp also aims to inculcate patriotism, self-confidence, discipline, and team spirit among the cadets, preparing them for future leadership roles and encouraging them to contribute positively to society.
