NCC RDC 2026 Cadets Honoured By Governor

Hyderabad: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma honoured NCC RDC 2026 cadets for national level excellence during a felicitation ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Hyderabad, on February 7, 2026. The event recognised the achievements of the Republic Day Contingent 2026 of NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh and Telangana after their performance at the Republic Day Camp in New Delhi. The ceremony highlighted discipline, dedication, and teamwork displayed by cadets representing the Directorate at a prestigious national platform.
The Governor of Telangana graced the programme and congratulated the cadets, officers, and training staff. He appreciated their dedication and discipline. He also praised their outstanding representation of the Directorate at the national level. Meanwhile, he lauded the efforts of NCC cadets from various schools and colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He noted their contribution in bringing laurels to the Directorate through sustained commitment and hard work.
RDC 2026 medals and commendations highlight cadet performance
The NCC RDC 2026 contingent achieved notable success in competitive events during the Republic Day Camp. The Directorate secured 02 Gold, 02 Silver, and 03 Bronze medals in the Riding and Vaulting Championship. It also won the Best Rider Runner Up Trophy. Therefore, the performance stood out among participating contingents at the national camp. In addition, members of the Directorate received 04 DGNCC Commendation Cards and 07 DGNCC Medallions. These honours recognised exemplary performance and professionalism displayed throughout the camp.
Meanwhile, the Governor also appreciated the cultural programme presented by the cadets. The group song and dance reflected the rich cultural heritage of the state. It also highlighted unity in diversity. The programme received appreciation at the national level, adding further recognition to the Directorate’s overall performance at RDC 2026.
Later, the Governor encouraged the cadets to uphold the values learned through NCC training. He urged them to continue practicing discipline, leadership, and selfless service. He also motivated them to strive for greater achievements in the future.
Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani, Deputy Director General, NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, attended the ceremony. Senior NCC officers, instructors, and cadets of the Directorate were also present, marking the occasion as a proud moment for the NCC fraternity.
