New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) in association with Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) today launched the fortnight-long ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ cleanliness campaign here.
Lt Governor Anil Baijal, NDMC chairman Naresh Kumar, Secretary, NDMC, Chanchal Yadav and senior officers of the DoPT and NDMC attended the programme. NDMC Brand Ambassador and Paralympics athlete Deepa Malik also participated in the cleanliness campaign.
On the occasion, Mr Baijal commended the NDMC for the entire municipality area under its jurisdiction being declared entirely Open Defecation Free (ODF).
