Hyderabad, Oct. 2: Nearly 29,000 Form-7 applications have been filed during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana, according to Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharsan Reddy.
As of Thursday, the state had received 28,753 applications seeking objections to proposed voter inclusions or deletion of existing entries. Hyderabad accounted for around 5,000 applications, followed by Siddipet and Sangareddy districts.

Sudharsan Reddy said applicants must provide valid reasons for seeking deletions through Form-7. These include death, permanent migration or not residing at the registered address.
He said applications submitted in bulk by political parties would undergo detailed inquiries and verification before any action. The CEO’s office will also publish claims and objections on its website to allow citizens to review the lists and raise objections.
