Candidates should download the city slip and keep a copy for future reference. However, the exam city slip should not be confused with the admit card.

NBEMS has scheduled the NEET PG 2026 admit card for August 27. Candidates will need the admit card for entry to the examination centre.

This year’s test city allocation also follows a revised approach. Candidates were required to provide preferred states for their examination centre during the application process.

The state linked to the candidate’s correspondence address served as the mandatory first preference. The revised system aims to provide candidates with examination centres closer to their stated location.

Previously, NEET PG test city selection could operate on a first come, first served basis. That system often encouraged candidates to submit applications quickly because nearby cities could reach capacity.

The new approach is intended to reduce that pressure and improve the allocation process.

Candidates should carefully check their city details when the information becomes available. They should also regularly monitor official NBEMS updates for the admit card and other examination instructions. (Maxim News)
