New Railway Project Worth More Than 80 Thousand Crores To Be Built In The State

Hyderabad, Sept 4 (Maxim News): Union Minister for Culture and Tourism and BJP State President, G. Kishan Reddy has informed that the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prepared plans to build a railway project worth more than Rs. 80 thousand crore in Telangana.

He said that efforts have been started with the aim of providing railway connectivity to 33 districts of the state and towns with a population of over one lakh. It is mentioned that the railway will come to spiritual places like Bhadrachalam, Ramappa, and Modaram.  The Center has estimated that the cost of the 564 km regional ring rail project will be Rs. 12,408 crore. He said that this project will become a game changer in the development of Telangana. He said that the Railway Department has sanctioned the final survey for a total of 30 projects including 15 new railway lines and 15 additional lines in the state.

Kishan Reddy spoke at a press conference at the Central government offices Tower in Kavadiguda, Hyderabad, the Center will take up the Adilabad-Nirmal-Patacheru project at a cost of Rs. 5,706 crores, fulfilling the decades-long aspiration of the people of Nizamabad districts.  Due to this, state and country capitals will be connected with North Telangana.  This route reaches Patancheru via Adilabad, Ichoda, Naradigonda, Nirmal, Balkonda, Armoor, Bodhan, Banswada, Niampet, and Sangareddy. The Wajanagar-Jaggaiyapet route runs parallel to National High Way No. 65 via Chityala, Nakrekal, and Suryapet.  This will make it the shortest route connecting the capitals of the Telugu states Hyderabad and Amaravati.  

Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Gajwel, Yadadri, Bhuvanagiri, Chityala, Shadnagar, and Shabad will be connected with the regional ring rail project. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao wrote a letter asking him to cooperate in land acquisition for the Works of Charlapally, Wajanagar, and Secunderabad stations and the construction of railway lines but he did not respond.

The coming BJP government in the state, after that, we will take up new projects after solving land acquisition problems, explained Kishan Reddy. (Maxim News)
