Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D. Joel Davis stated, “The step is being taken to help ease traffic flow between Cyber Towers and Biodiversity junction as there was no U-turn between them.” To address the congestion issue further, the size of the rotary has been reduced by approximately 10 feet.

Route Diversions For commuters heading towards Cyber Towers, it is advised to continue their journey via the IKEA underpass road. Those traveling towards Cable Bridge should make a right turn at the IKEA Rotary and proceed in the anti-clockwise direction within the rotary itself For commuters traveling from Cyber Towers to IKEA Rotary, a U-turn can be taken at the IKEA Rotary followed by the free left road leading towards the Cable Bridge. However, those traveling towards the Bio-Diversity Junction will need to pass via the IKEA underpass road.

Alternatives for Traffic Flow

Additionally, for traffic coming from Meenakshi Junction towards Bio-Diversity Junction, it is recommended to continue straight at the IKEA rotary and take the first available U-turn after reaching C-Gate. These traffic restrictions and diversions are aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing congestion in the affected areas. Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and adhere to the new traffic regulations for a smoother journey.
