The National Human Rights Commission will be holding its three-day ‘Open Hearing and Camp Sitting’ for the cases of human rights violations and related grievances in Uttar Pradesh from August 9 to 11.
In addition to the fresh complaints received in response to the public notices, the Commission has also decided to take up during the ‘Camp Sitting and Open Hearing’ some of the cases of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes victims already under consideration.
The Commission statement here today said they will take up 255 cases during its ‘Camp Sitting and Open Hearing’, which will begin with the inauguration by Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, Member, NHRC on August 9 at 1000 hrs.
