Niranjan Reddy launches call centre
Hyderabad, June 22 (Maxim News): Minister for Agriculture Singireddy Niranjan Reddy launched a call centre at Rythu Bandu Samithi office, Public Gardens, here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said that the State has over 63 lakh farmers and majority of them are beneficiaries of Rythu Bandu and Rythu Beema schemes.
The Minister said the purpose of launching the call center is to respond to issues raised by farmers and to clarify their doubts immediately.
All the queries related to Rythu Bandu and Rythu Beema are being addressed through the call center and farmers can take suggestions over the phone.
On the occasion, the Minister dialed to the son of a farmer, a resident of Kakarla cluster in Badradri- Kothagudem district, who have died recently, from the call centre and enquired about the status whether the Rythu Beema was received or not from the government.
State Rythu Bandu Samithi president Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, MLC L Ramana, Agriculture department secretary Raghunandan Rao and other senior officials were present. (Maxim News)
