Hyderabad, March 24 (Maxim News): Defence Minister and BJP leader Nirmala Seetharaman on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would retain power in the upcoming parliament elections.
She made these remarks while addressing a meeting of ex-service men and their family members at Sainikpuri in the city. She also said there was the need to ensure that Modi became Prime Minister again to protect the country and ensure its integrity. She said Modi was not working for his family but the entire country. She claimed that the Centre had taken several welfare measures for the benefit of the ex-servicemen and their family members.
Nirmala said they had set up a war memorial, which was pending for a long time. She also claimed that they had improved the quality of the healthcare services provided to them. Commenting on the surgical strikes, she claimed that while the whole world was praising the country following the act, the mischievous Opposition parties were asking the government to show them proof.
