Hyderabad, Feb.14 (Maxim News): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will make a two-day visit to Hyderabad and Bengaluru on February 16 and 17. Her visit aims to get to know of budget and its implications on different sections and departments.
In the wake of the States and Opposition parties slamming the Centre for its budget for not fulfilling people’s aspirations, Nirmala will be holding separate meetings with the industry, business persons, financial experts, farmers and others to get feedback on the recent Union budget. In Hyderabad, she will hold a meeting with trade, commerce and business men on the budget and interact with them.
Nirmala will be talking to investment bankers and farmers as part of her tour. In the second session, she will talk to financial experts, tax practitioners, students and policy makers. It may be mentioned here that Nirmala Seetharaman had presented the Union Budget on February 1 in Parliament. The budget gave top priority to agriculture, irrigation, education, infrastructure, sanitation and health sectors. (Maxim News)
