Nitish Kumar, Mamata Banerjee Are Acting Like Secularists: Asad Owaisi

Ahmedabad: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee are acting like secularists.

On Saturday, Asaduddin Owaisi made key comments on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Nitish Kumar became CM when he was with BJP. He was with the BJP even during the Godhra riots. In 2015, he broke with the BJP. He joined BJP again in 2017.

Nitish Kumar worked for Narendra Modi’s victory in the 2019 elections. Again now he has left BJP. They formed the Mahaghatbandhan government with Congress and RJD.

Asaduddin said that under Nitish’s rule, even small children were not protected in Bihar… It is outrageous that two boys were produced in the court with their hands tied with ropes for rioting. Instead of catching the real culprits, the Bihar police have targeted Muslim children.

Also, Mamata Banerjee was also in NDA at that time and she criticized Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh at that time. He alleged that whenever he speaks for the welfare of minorities, some people speak against him.

He said that they only act like secularists, but none of them are real secularists, and none of them are religious people. He said that the people of the country are observing all this.
