No Alliance with TRS Ever: TPCC Chief

Hyderabad, Sept.8 (Maxim News): TPCC Chief A. Revanth Reddy today made it clear that the Congress party would never have any kind of alliance with the ruling TRS party in Telangana. “The alliance with the TRS party will never happen even in our dreams.

Our party leader Rahul Gandhi has made this clear while delivering his address at the party’s public meeting in Warangal district. We are not prepared to bear the burden of the eight year long sins of the TRS party,” he said.

Speaking to media persons after meeting Rahul Gandhi at KanyakumariRevanth Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao encouraged the BJP in order to remove the Congress party from the political scene of the State. He also the CM had grossly failed in accomplishing his plans while noting that the botched up plans of KCR have now become his biggest curse.

The TPCC chief made it clear that the BJP has no strength in the State as being projected by the Chief Minister. He claimed that KCR was trying to attract the attention of Muslims, Christians and the voters with Left ideology by citing communal BJP and added that the CM was trying to show his smartness by giving unnecessary publicity to the BJP.

Stating that the BJP does not have any powerful leader, he predicted that the saffron party would not get more than 10 Assembly seats. He claimed that the Chief Minister was trying to implement West Bengal like political strategy in Telangana to win in the next Assembly elections. He also said Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is an apolitical yatra. He said Rahul Gandhi would find out about the problems being faced by the people of the country.

He said the padayatra of Rahul Gandhi would enter the State in the third week of October from Raichur of Karnataka and added that they would accord a grand reception to Rahul Gandhi like no other State of the country. He hoped that the party would come to power after the padayatra of Rahul Gandhi. He said Rahul would hold his padayatra for 350 km in Telangana and added that the yatra would last 15 days in the State. (Maxim News)
