No-Confidence Motion Against Vikarabad Municipal Chairperson
Vikharabad/Hyderabad, Jan 28 (Maxim News): About 24 BRS Councilors passed a no-confidence motion against their own Vikarabad Municipal Chairperson Chigullapally Manju. A resolution with signatures was handed over to Collector Nikhila Reddy.
Councilor Lanka Pushpalatha Reddy said that Manjula, who had assumed the post of Chairperson as per the two-and-a-half-year contract, did not resign after that and passed a no-confidence motion. Pushpalatha Reddy clarified that out of the total 32 members, she has the support of 23 Councilors. Municipal Chairperson Chigullapally Manjula is planning to resign from BRS after the motion of no confidence. (Maxim News)
