No Ganesh Immersion in Hussain Sagar

Hyderabad, Sept 10 (Maxim News): In Hussain Sagar, flexies have come out saying that Vinayaka immersion is not allowed. These flexies have been arranged in the name of GHMC and Hyderabad police on Tankbund Road.

According to the orders of the High Court, immersion of idols in Sagar is not allowed. Iron fences were also placed around the idols of Ganesha in Hussainsagar.

A hearing on Hussain Sagar’s immersion will be held today in the High Court. It is known that earlier the High Court had ruled that POP idols should not be immersed in Sagar. Lawyer Venumadav filed a petition that the orders of the High Court were not implemented. HYDRA was also asked to be included as a defendant in this. The petitioner claimed that HYDRA was taking care of Hussainsagar conservation.  (Maxim News)
