No LPG shortage in Telangana says Uttam Kumar Reddy

Hyderabad, Mar 13  (Maxim News): Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy said there is no LPG shortage in Telangana.

Uttam Kumar asked officials to ensure steady supply. He also warned against black marketing. So he called for strict monitoring.

The Minister held a video conference on March 13. Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao also joined. The meeting took place at Dr BR Ambedkar Secretariat. District Collectors, SPs, and Police Commissioners attended. Therefore, the review covered key issues.

The meeting focused on LPG supply. It also reviewed summer drinking water plans. In addition, officials discussed the 99 Day Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika programme. So departments shared updates.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said supply must stay smooth. He asked officials to serve homes, hospitals, and hostels. He also said there must be no breaks. Therefore, he asked teams to act fast on complaints.

Uttam Kumar also spoke about public concerns. He said some rumours created fear. So he asked Collectors to clear doubts.

Uttam Kumar told them to spread correct facts. Moreover, he said people must not face trouble.

The Minister also asked police to stop illegal sales. He said black marketing will face action. In addition, he asked teams to check field reports. So he stressed joint work by supply and police teams.

Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao joined the review. Civil Supplies Commissioner Stephen Ravindra also took part. Irrigation Principal Secretary Sridhar attended. Special Secretary Prashant Jeevan Patil joined as well. Assistant Secretary K Srinivas also took part.

ENC Ramesh Babu attended the meeting. I and PR Special Commissioner CH Priyanka also joined. Many senior officers took part. Therefore, the meeting saw wide participation.

The Minister asked for daily review of LPG supply. He also asked for summer water plans. So departments must stay alert. For now, the government says supply remains stable. (Maxim News)
