No Matter How Many Challenges We Face: 7.8 Percent Growth Rate, PM Modi’s Comments On Tariffs

Delhi/Internet Desk/Hyderabad, Sept 2 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi made key remarks regarding the tariffs imposed by the US. He said that despite the challenges faced due to the economic interests of others, India has achieved a growth rate of 7.8 percent and the country’s economy is outperforming expectations.

He made these remarks while speaking at the Semcon India 2025 conference held at Yashobhumi in Delhi. He said that despite the uncertainty in the global situation, India is steadily moving forward towards development. He called on various companies from the world to come to India for Make in India and to manufacture for the world. He said that many changes have taken place in India under his government’s rule, such as political stability, economic stability and transparency in policies. He expressed confidence that India, which is the fastest growing economy in the world, will soon become the third largest economy.

Modi said that this growth is not limited to just one sector but is visible in all sectors. He said that the day will soon come when all the countries of the world will say that they are using Made in India products. He expressed happiness over the participation of representatives from 40 countries in the Semicon India 2025 conference. He said that this is an example of the increased trust of the world countries in India. He said that even at a time when competition has increased globally, India’s popularity has not decreased. Modi’s words have gained significance in the context of the US imposing heavy taxes on India.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that it is their dream to have an Indian-made Chip in every device. He presented the first “Make-in-India” microprocessor chips to Prime Minister Modi at the Semicon india 2025 conference. He presented the Vikram 32 bit processor made by India along with 4 test chips. He said that this first microprocessor chip was developed by ISRO Semiconductor Lab. He said that it was designed to work in harsh weather conditions on carriers. He said that the Center is taking steps with the aim of enhancing the semiconductor ecosystem. He said that the Prime Minister thought with foresight a few years ago and started this. With this, he said that in just 3.5 years, the world is looking at India with confidence. He said that currently, the construction of five semiconductor units is going on rapidly in the country.

Prime Minister Modi, who recently visited Japan, addressed the india-Japan Joint Economic Forum. The Prime Minister said that Japan is a very important partner for India, from semiconductor industries to startups. He recalled that Japanese companies have invested more than 40 billion dollars in India. He held bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba on AI, semiconductors, bullet trains and investment. (Maxim News)
