Speaking to press persons, here today, the CEO said that strict security arrangements have been made in the problematic areas. He said that 80,000 personnel are needed for the elections. Training has already been given to the election staff. He said that 90 thousand polling centers have been set up in the state. He said that the arrangements for the Cantonment Assembly elections have been completed. He said that 8,58,491 votes were deleted after the Assembly elections, and Police personnel are fully prepared.
There are 3.30 crore voters of which 8 lakh are new young voters. This time, people above 85 years of age will have the option of home voting. Home voting will start from the day after the withdrawal of the nomination. this time postal voting through new software. The training process for election officials and staff has been completed.
