No Third Party Intervention: India Rejects China Statement On Indo-Pak Tensions

Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec 31 (Maxim News): It is known that tensions arose between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. However, China announced that it had acted as a mediator to establish peace between Indo-Pak. India strongly condemned China’s comments. It clarified that there was no third party role in the ceasefire with Pakistan.

The ceasefire agreement that took place on May 10 after Operation Sindoor was reached through direct talks between the Director General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of the two countries. “We have already rejected such claims. There is no third party involvement in resolving issues between India and Pakistan. The DGMOs of both countries held direct talks and agreed to the ceasefire agreement. We have made our position on this issue clear on several occasions in the past,” the government clarified.

India took military action against Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. However, India claimed that Operation Sindoor was called off only after discussions between the DGMOs of the two countries. However, US President Trump claims that he played a key role in the peace between the two countries. The world is reporting that the two countries have come to terms with the threat of tariffs. However, India has repeatedly denied Trump’s statements. It has said that there was no third country role in the war with Pakistan. However, it is noteworthy that China has now said that it has also played a role in establishing peace between India and Pakistan, just like Trump.

China has played the role of a peacemaker in resolving crises around the world, said Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Not only the Indo-Pak war, but also the Myanmar, Cambodia-Thailand and Iran nuclear issues have been resolved, the Chinese minister said. He said that this year has witnessed the highest number of wars and cross-border attacks since World War II. Political uncertainty has increased. He said that we have taken the decision to establish peace, and for this, we have tried to understand the roots of those problems and solve them.
