No Wonder If Naidu Shakes Hands With Jagan For Gain: KTR
Hyderabad, Nov.15 (Maxim News): In sensational remarks of sorts, Caretaker Minister KT Rama Rao today declared that he will renounce politics if the TRS failed to retain power in the Assembly polls. Will the leaders of Mahakutami dare to take similar commitment, he challenged.
Addressing the Meet-the-Press program at Somajiguda Press Club here, the minister threw a challenge to other political parties to quit politics if they failed to win the Assembly polls. He also accused TDP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of relying on others to shine in politics, he ridiculed. “Chandarababu is an opportunistic politician and may join hands with the Leader of the Opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy for political mileage”, he charged.
He also slammed the Congress chief N Utham Kumar Reddy for making false promises, which require the budget of five States. The promises being made lacks commitment towards the welfare of the farmers, people and poor, he said. The TRS has regime has launched rythu bandhu and rythu bhima to help farmers flourish and avoid loans.
KTR took a dig at the TD for forging an unholy alliance with the arch rival Congress only to take on the might of the ruling party and sought a clarification as to why he was meddling in Telangana issues. Reason behind Chandrababu funding the Assembly polls is to conspire against the progress of the new state, he alleged. Painting a rosy picture in the four and half years of the TRS rule, he tried to persuade that within the short span of time or overnight we cannot build world class city. The TRS regime has taken up Kaleshwaram as prestigious project and the engineers are surprised at its speedy completion, he claimed.
To a query KTR said there was a need for providing quality education and encourage the students pursue higher education. He denied comments that the TRS regime has developed North Telangana and did not give similar priority to the South Telangana, including Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and other districts. As far as my knowledge is concerned, no political analyst has made such comments of partisan attitude by the government which will take up development works based on requirements, he said.
