Nothing unusual in Tamil Nadu ministers meeting Central Govt says Arun

There is “nothing unusual” in the Tamil Nadu ministers meeting central ministers in Delhi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said here today and dismissed contentions that the NDA was running a proxy Government in the southern state especially after the death of J Jayalalitha.”There is nothing unusual in state ministers meeting Central Government.

Even yesterday, some leaders met me and submitted a memorandum seeking financial assistance,” Mr Jaitley told reporters here.”States and the Centre are supposed to have a relationship,” Mr Jaitley said adding, as far as Tamil Nadu is concerned “we (BJP) don’t even have a single MLA in the Assembly. There is an elected Government in the state”.
