Notices To Remove KCR From Opposition Leader Post Of Assembly
Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Maxim News): Former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has received a big shock. The Federation of Farmers Association in Telangana has sent legal notices to the main opposition leader KCR, who is absent from the Assembly. Senior Advocate Paduri Srinivasa Reddy sent these notices on behalf of the Federation of Farmers Association in Telangana. Farmers Association General Secretary Vijaypal has demanded the disqualification of KCR, who did not attend the assembly.
The notice stated that KCR, who has not fulfilled his duties as the opposition leader, is not eligible to continue as a member of the House. Vijaypal suggested that KCR should fight in the Assembly on public issues. Otherwise, he demanded that KCR, who did not come to the Assembly, be removed from office immediately. Vijaypal requested that the Speaker issue a summons to KCR and seek an explanation. He made it clear that KCR’s non-attendance in the House is a way to suppress the voices of farmers.
KCR served as the first Chief Minister after the formation of Telangana state. He formed the government under the BRS for ten years. During the ten years, he introduced many schemes and gained the approval of the people. However, BRS unexpectedly lost power in the last assembly elections. The Congress party took power. Revanth Reddy took charge as the Chief Minister. However, KCR who slipped after the elections, took a break for some time.
However, KCR, who had fallen on his feet, has not come to the Assembly for 14 months since the formation of the government. He has attended the assembly only once. He has been completely confined to the farmhouse. While many people want KCR to come to the people, he has not responded despite repeated requests from Congress leaders to come to the assembly.
Recently, in a meeting held at the farmhouse, he not only announced that a huge public meeting would be held soon but also created a sensation by commenting that he does not know what will happen if he is beaten.
