Notorious Rowdy Sheeter and Four Others Arrested in Dacoity Case

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (Maxim News): Acting on credible information, the slueths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, South West Zone team, in collaboration with Kulsumpura Police, apprehended a notorious rowdy sheeter along with four other accused involved in a dacoity case. The group was arrested for forcibly snatching mobile phones and cash from the complainants by threatening them with a knife. When the victims resisted, they were injured with the knife. A total of 12 mobile phones were recovered from the accused.

Details of the Accused:

  1. Chowkat Akash
    • Age: 20 years
    • Occupation: Bawarchi
    • Residence: Opposite Shivala Ghat, Pardiwada, Puranapool, Hyderabad
    • Rowdy Sheeter of Kamathipura Police Station
    • Criminal History: Involved in murder and NDPS Act cases in Hyderabad.
  2. Parcha Vishal Singh
    • Age: 21 years
    • Occupation: Delivery Boy at Flipkart
    • Residence: Sultan Shahi, Gowlipura Market, Lal Darwaza, Old City, Hyderabad
    • Criminal History: Involved in property theft cases.
  3. Biradar Kishan Rao Rohit
    • Age: 25 years
    • Occupation: Party Events Decorator
    • Residence: Hari Boli, near Arya Samaj, Old City, Hyderabad.
  4. Sakat Jitender
    • Age: 19 years
    • Occupation: Labourer
    • Residence: Near Sai Baba Temple, Sitafal Mandi Railway Station, Sitafal Mandi.
  5. Gunnala Pradeep
    • Age: 20 years
    • Occupation: Degree 1st Year Student at Nava Chaitanya College, Narayanguda
    • Residence: Near Pratap Talkies, Ganesh Nagar, Langerhouz, Hyderabad.

Incident Overview:

On the night of August 4, 2024, a Swiggy delivery boy received an order from Indian Darbar in Narayanguda, destined for Attapur. Accompanied by his friend, the complainant was riding his bike when the accused intercepted them near Peeli Mandap, 100 Feet Road, Puranapool, Hyderabad. The accused forcibly took their mobile phones and cash by threatening them with a knife. When the victims tried to resist, they were injured with the knife.

Arrest and Recovery:

Following a tip-off, the Commissioner’s Task Force, the South West Zone Team, in collaboration with Kulsumpura Police, successfully apprehended the accused. The operation was carried out under the supervision of YVS Sudheendra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, and G. Chandra Mohan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West Zone L&O). The task force inspector, S. Bala Swamy, along with SI Ajeeth Singh and Kulsumpura Inspector K. B. Ramaswamy, played a crucial role in the arrests. (Maxim News)
