NSUI Threatens Stir Against Fee Hike For Engg Courses
Hyderabad, July 4 (Maxim News): NSUI State president Venkat on Thursday said the TRS government has hiked the fee for Engineering courses more than that of previous Congress government. He also alleged that some politicians, who established Engineering colleges for making hay, were mounting pressure on the TSFRC to hike the fee.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, the NSUI leader said the State government was reimbursing the fee of the students. He alleged that the authorities concerned in the State government remained silent spectators despite the Engineering colleges were collecting huge donations while counseling for admissions into colleges was going on in the State.
Venkat also alleged that the college managements were selling the seats in the name of management and NRI quotas. He warned the State government of a State-wide agitation if the fee of Engineering courses passed on to the students. He also warned they would not allow even a single engineering College to function if the fee was hiked. (Maxim News)
