A Police officer Thirupathi was killed on the spot when he rammed his car into a truck moving in same direction near Bommakal flyover bridge on the outskirts of Karimnagar late on Tuesday night.
Thirupathi is working as an Assistant Sub Inspector in Sultanabad police station of Peddapalli district. He was returning home in Karimnagar after completing duties in the night. He seemed to be driving the vehicle fast and hit the truck from behind around midnight. He died on the spot.
