Officer who stopped Salman Khan at airport rewarded for professionalism

A CISF officer who reportedly stopped Bollywood actor Salman Khan at the Mumbai airport last week has been suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism in the discharge of his duty, the paramilitary force said on Tuesday, denying reports that the officer was penalised.

Reports have emerged that the CISF has ASI Somnath Mohanty was punished for breaking the protocol by speaking to the media. The CISF cop had stopped the actor at the security gate and asked him to undergo mandatory security check. In a tweet, CISF said, “The officer concerned has been suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism.”
