Officials directed to conduct ‘Swathantra Bharatha Vajrotsavalu’ on grand scale
Hyderabad, July 30 (Maxim News): In a bid to emphasize patriotism and educate the new generations about freedom fighters, their sacrifices and the fruits of freedom struggle enjoying the country, the State government has decided to conduct ‘Swathantra Bharatha Vajrotsavalu‘ from August 8 to 22 in a befitting manner across Telangana.
As part of its preparations, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar held a meeting with senior officials at BRKR Bhavan here on Saturday and asked the officials to work in close coordination in order to ensure that the programme is held successfully.
Somesh Kumar said the high level Vajrotsava Committee has already chalked out a detailed programme. The inaugural session will be held on August 8, which will be attended by Ministers, MLAs and other public representatives. Special programmes on national integration will be held across the State.
The Chief Secretary said that one crore flags are already being readied for distribution to all households in the State. During the meeting, the officials were directed to ensure that the flags are distributed in all villages, mandals and municipalities. Films on national integration and patriotism will be shown free of cost to school children in all cinema theatres. (Maxim News)
