Officials directed to make elaborate arrangements for Modi’s visit

Hyderabad, June 30 (Maxim News): In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Hyderabad, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for Modi’s visit and said that adequate security should be put in place during the VVIPs visit.

The Chief Secretary held a meeting with police and other senior officials at BRKR Bhavan here on Thursday and reviewed the arrangements for the tour of Modi and other VIPs, who will attend the National Executive Committee meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party held in Hyderabad on July 2 and 3.

The Prime Minister will reach Hyderabad on July 2 and leave the city in the early hours on July 4. Apart from Modi, all Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of all BJP ruled States and national level leaders will be visiting the city for attending the National Executive Committee meeting.

“Smooth flow of traffic movement should be made so as to ensure that common public is not put to any inconvenience during the PM’s visit,” Somesh Kumar said.

The Chief Secretary asked all the officials to work in close coordination and with utmost precaution. Barricading, lighting and all other measures at Parade Ground, the venue of the public meeting should be scrupulously adhered to, as per the rule book .

DGP M Mahender Reddy, special chief secretary energy Sunil Sharma, Spl. CS, MA&UD Arvind Kumar, Home Secretary Ravi Gupta and other senior officials were present. (Maxim News)
