PM Modi to stay at Novotel Hotel in Madhapur

Hyderabad, June 30 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to stay at Novotel hotel in Madhapur during his visit to the city to attend the two-day conference of BJP’s national executive council.

Although, it is said initially that Modi would stay at Raj Bhavan during his visit, the venue of his stay has been changed following an advice from SPG (Special Protection Group), which takes care of his security arrangements. The SPG reportedly took the decision to change the venue after holding a meeting with local police officials. The police officials told the SPG that the distance between Novotel hotel, which is the venue to host the national executive council meeting of the saffron party, and Raj Bhavan was 14 km. The Inteligence agencies of the State and the Centre told the SPG group that it would be very difficult to make the security arrangements between Raj Bhavan and the Novotel hotel .

The then Prime Minister of BJP-ruled NDA government Atal Bihari Vajpayee had stayed at a star hotel near tank bund in the year 2004 when he came to attend the national executive council meetings of the party. Modi would reach the city in a special flight and land at Begumpet airport. He will catch a chopper from the Begumpet airport and land at HICC. The party has booked an entire floor of the hotel for the stay of Modi at the hotel. The party also booked the entire hotel for the stay of the delegates of the party for three days from July 1 to July 3, 2022. (Maxim News)
