Hyderabad, Dec.23 (Maxim News): Accused Palla Srinivas Reddy, R/o Rajanna Bowli, Old City, was convicted under the POCSO Act, under the supervision of N. Prakash Reddy DCP Shamshabad and Court Monitoring Cell of Women & Children Safety Wing Cyberabad Commissionerate.
The facts of the case are: On 08-07-2013, the victim studying 5 th class was going to School. On the way, Srinivas Reddy caught hold of her hand and started teasing her. In this way the accused misbehaved and outraged victim’s dignity and modesty. The accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
In this case, the investigating officer B. Kotaiah, Sub-Inspector after completion of investigation, filed charge sheet in the IX ADJ Court LB Nagar (Fast Track Court). During the trial today Judge R. Raghunath Reddy convicted the accused Srinivas Reddy with Rigorous imprisonment for 2 years and a fine of Rs 1,000/.(Maxim News)
