One Held For Procuring & Selling Banned Foreign Cigarettes

Hyderabad, Aug.18 (Maxim News): Seuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone along with local police raided Priya Novelties in Amar Estate, Begum Bazaar, on Saturday night and apprehended one Mangilal Jain, who was illegally procuring banned Paris, Win, Mond and many other banned cigarettes and seized 5,380 packets worth about Rs 2,00,000 and five cartons of “Twice A Day” Cigarette Roller and one Cell phone.

Police said Mangilal Jain was running a Gift Articles and Ladies emporium business and fraudulently procuring local made Paris, Win, Mond and many other banned foreign cigarettes to avoid Customs Duty and also to avoid GST causing loss to the government. The prohibited materials were being received from Delhi, UP and Kolkata via Railway Transport. The accused along with seized material were handed over to SHO, Shahinayathgunj PS. (Maxim News)
