Hyderabad, Feb 3 (Maxim News): Officials have announced that the POLYCET-2026 exam, which is conducted for admissions to various courses in polytechnic colleges in the state, will be held on May 13. The SBTET Secretary released an announcement to this effect on Monday. Through this entrance test, seats will be filled in engineering and non-engineering diploma courses as well as agriculture, horticulture, veterinary and fisheries courses under PJTSU and PVNRTVU universities. The Polycet online registration process started on Monday.
Officials said that students who have passed the 10th and those appearing for the exams this year are eligible. Interested candidates are advised to apply before April 20 without any fine. Under the exam fee, SC and ST will have to pay Rs. 250, and others will have to pay Rs. 500. If the deadline is missed, the opportunity to apply till April 21 with a late fee of Rs. 100, and till April 22, with a tatkal fee of Rs. 300 has been provided.

Meanwhile, there was confusion in the release of the POLYCET notification. On the first day, the website was down until night. Students were worried as it was not open.
