Operation Sindoor: Security Tightened At Railway Stations Within SCR Zone
Hyderabad, May 10 (Maxim News): In the wake of the tense situation between India and Pakistan, the South Central Railway has been put on alert. CPRO Sridhar said that security has been tightened at railway stations within the South Central Railway zone.
He said that security has been increased at major railway stations like Secunderabad and Kacheguda. Sridhar said that the number of CCTV cameras has also been increased and surveillance is being carried out. He said that every passenger and their luggage is being thoroughly checked before being allowed into the station.
In the backdrop of India-Pakistan tensions, the closure of several airports across the country due to security reasons has led to an increase in the number of passengers of railway stations.
He said that special forces have been deployed for security. Sridhar said that special trains are being run according to the passenger traffic. (Maxim News)
