Hyd,Sept 14 (Maxim News): Miyapur Police with the assistance of SOT, Cyberabad raided the house bearing No.1-1, Plot No.18 & 19, Maktha, Mahaboobpet, Miyapur and seized NDPS material i.e., 1.4 K.G. Opium, 45 grams of Opium raw material, net cash of 26,50,000/- and two cell phones from the possession of 1) Mangilal Chowdary s/o Uma Ram, age 30 years, occ Business, R/o Plot No.18 & 19, 1-1.No.1-1, Maktha, Mahaboobpet, Miyapur. N/o Ranavas village, Pali Dist, Rajasthan State and 2) Kishanr Lal Chowdary s/o Uma Ram, age 24 years, occ Business, R/o H.No. 1-1, Plot No.18 & 19, Maktha, Mahaboobpet, Miyapur. N/o Ranavas village, Pali Dist, Rajasthan State at their residence.
The above accused brought the above substance from Ranawas village, Pali Dist of Rajasthan State through a mediator by name Mangilal Chowdary of the same village. They were being sent to judicial custody under provisions of 18 (b) r/w 8(c) of NDPS Act. Teams are deployed to locate the actual source of the above substance. The police are filing petition for taking the accused on police custody for further investigation.
