Yashwant Sinha, a joint candidate for the opposition, will submit a nomination for the presidential election in New Delhi. According to rumours, opposition leaders will meet on June 27 at 11:30 am in the Parliament Annexe to discuss the upcoming presidential elections. The nomination event will be attended by NCP leader Sharad Pawar, Telangana Minister KTR, and others. Yashwant Sinha is receiving backing from the Congress, Trinamool Congress, SP, NCP, and anti-BJP groups.
In 1960, Yashwant Sinha, an IAS candidate who taught at Patna University, was chosen. He joined the BJP in 1986 before resigning to join the TMC in 2018.
