OU Prof Demands Restoration Of Dissolved Assembly

Hyderabad, Sept.16 (Maxim News): Osmania University Political Science Department Prof. Muthaiah has opined that the dissolution of Assembly was against the Constitutional spirit and demanded that the dissolved Assembly be restored immediately. He alleged that care taker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was going for early elections with selfish interests.

Participating in a meeting organised by the Development India Party (DIP) at Basheerbagh Press Club here on Sunday, Muthaiah alleged that KCR failed to fulfil a single assurance given by him. The family rule was going on in the state and the Ministers and MLAs were not in a position to take their own decisions in the state, he pointed out. KCR totally forgotten his slogan ‘water, funds and jobs’ after coming to power, he said and claimed that KCR dissolved the Assembly with the fear of defeat in the coming elections. He warned that KCR would face defeat even in early elections.

Development India Party chief Krishna Vemula questioned KCR to tell as to what was the need for early elections and lamented that several developmental programs were stalled due to the abolition of the Assembly. (Maxim News)
