Over 19.46 Lakh ASD Electors Found In Hyderabad On SIR Last Day

Hyderabad, August 11: More than 19.46 lakh electors were identified as Absent, Shifted or Dead (ASD) in Hyderabad district on the final day of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

According to the latest status report released by GHMC officials, 19,46,101 electors were classified as ASD across all 15 Assembly constituencies in the district.

The report showed that 58.89% of the enumeration forms had been digitised by 6 pm on Monday. Booth Level Officers had distributed 47,36,669 enumeration forms, of which 27,89,214 forms had been digitised.

Jubilee Hills recorded the highest number of ASD electors in Hyderabad district, with 1,79,794 electors classified in the category. Officials treated the related enumeration forms as uncollectible.

Charminar recorded the lowest number, with 95,024 ASD electors.

In the Old City, Yakutpura had the highest number of ASD electors, with 1,55,252 voters classified as absent, shifted or dead.

It was followed by Chandrayangutta with 1,49,365Malakpet with 1,47,552, and Karwan with 1,42,016 ASD electors.

Meanwhile, Nampally recorded 1,37,448 ASD electors, while Bahadurpura had 1,21,111.

The latest figures come as the SIR enumeration process concluded in Hyderabad district. Officials are expected to undertake further verification and scrutiny of the electoral data as part of the revision process.
