Nearly 80,000 students from the two Telugu-speaking States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh appeared for the preliminary exam of the Civil Services which was held on Sunday.
The examination was conducted in two sessions – 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m at examinations centres in Hyderabad, Warangal, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati. Special RTC buses were operated for the students and information centres were also established at Bus and Railway stations.
