Deputy speaker of Telangana assembly Padma Devender Reddy thanked KCR on behalf of the people of Medak for making this a separate district and Medak town as the capital.
She said the people of this region have been petitioning for over six decades to prevent Government offices from moving out. By carving out a new district, KCR had addressed the issue.
