Hyderabad, March 24: The Ghaziabad police have arrested 22 people in connection with a Pakistan espionage gang operating in Uttar Pradesh. The arrests followed an investigation into suspicious activities involving photos and videos of sensitive locations.

According to the police, the case began in Bhojpur in Uttar Pradesh. Authorities received information that some youths were taking photos and videos of railway stations and military bases. They were allegedly sending this material to unknown contacts. Therefore, police launched an inquiry into the matter.

Meanwhile, during the investigation, officials uncovered a larger Pakistan espionage gang behind these activities. The probe revealed links between the arrested individuals and espionage operations connected to Pakistan. As a result, the police expanded the investigation and took further action.

Initially, six people were arrested in Bhojpur. However, as the investigation progressed, the number of arrests increased to 22. The police seized mobile phones from the accused. When these devices were examined, officers found videos, photos, and location tags related to military bases.

Furthermore, the findings confirmed that sensitive information had been collected and stored by the accused. The presence of location tags linked to military sites raised serious security concerns. Therefore, authorities are continuing to probe the full extent of the network.
