Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today said Palle Pragati program was meant for providing all facilities and development.
Speaking at a program for the next phase of Palle Pragati at Shamshabad in Ranga Reddy district, the minister instructed the local leaders and officials to prepare separate plans for development. The Panchayat Raj Act offers duties and funds for rural development, she said. “The Act will also allows severe action on those who failed to deliver. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for rural development and giving huge funds”, she added.
“It is your turn to make use of the funds and ensure speedy development of villages. Clean and green programs will help push development programs ahead. Prefer to complete works of dumping yards, Vaikuntadhamas and kitchen sheds”, she said. She also directed the gathering to address people’s issues, increase literary rate and take welfare to their doorsteps. KCR gets credit for appointing secretaries to villages”, she added.
