Parliament today passed the Railway Budget for 2017-18 with the Rajya Sabha returning the Appropriation (Railways) Bill, 2017 and the Appropriation (Railways) No 2 Bill, 2017 by a voice vote.
The Lok Sabha had passed the Bill on March 20.
The Bill seeks to provide for authorisation of appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund of India.
