The minister confirmed that the winter Parliament Session will run from December 1 to December 19. He said the session will have fifteen sittings. He also said the Centre expects cooperation from all parties. Meanwhile, political groups have started internal talks as they prepare to raise key issues. The meeting on November 30 will help parties outline their agenda.

The winter session comes at a crucial time. Several opposition parties have already raised objections to the Special Electoral Roll carried out by the Election Commission. They objected to the process in twelve states and union territories. Therefore, the issue is likely to come up during the session. Political observers believe the discussion may continue through the early days of the proceedings.

However, the government expects a smooth session. It wants members to focus on the business set for the three week period. The all party meeting will help leaders understand the schedule. Then they will have clarity on the bills and debates that may follow. Rijiju said the government wants a productive session and intends to address all concerns. He also said the meeting will help clear doubts raised by any party.

Later, the winter sitting will move forward with the planned fifteen sittings. The government and opposition will then take up matters that need attention before the year ends. Therefore, the December session may include discussions that reflect ongoing political debates. The Centre hopes the meeting on November 30 will help reduce friction and improve cooperation in the House.
