Partha Sarathi Opens Intl Civilian Training Program On EM

Hyderabad, March 2 (Maxim News): EPTRI Director General C. Partha Sarathi inaugurated International Civilian Training Program on Environmental Management (EM) as part of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program of the External Affairs Ministry. The course is being attended by 27 participants from 26 countries covering Ghana, Iraq, Russia, Argentina, Tanzania, Cuba, Liberia, Madagascar, Panama, Zimbabwe, Nepal and other African Countries.

Addressing the participants, Partha Sarathi said Environmental sustainability was rapidly emerging as the major development and policy challenge for the countries and this course one Environmental Management spanning three three weeks from March 2 and 21 will give an opportunity to participants to learn about trends that influence the environment and the living conditions and how different management systems and approaches are used around the world, especially in India, to manage the environment.” (Maxim News)
