Passport appointment within two days in districts

Passport | Hyderabad, November 28: Due to the high traffic in the three Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) in Hyderabad, officials are suggesting that the services of the centers available in the districts be utilized.

Applicants are mostly opting for Ameerpet, Begumpet, and Tolichowki centers in Hyderabad, increasing their burden. Although the Department of External Affairs has given applicants the facility to make an appointment in any district, there is a delay due to a lack of awareness, and many are choosing centers in Hyderabad.

Officials suggest that the process will be expedited if the applicants choose their nearest PSK or POPSK (Post Office Passport Sevakendra). According to the latest list, it takes 13 days to get a slot in Karimnagar PSK, 15 days in Ameerpet, Begumpet, and 20 days in Tolichowki.

It is noteworthy that there is only a day difference between normal and tatkal appointments in PSK in the Nizamabad district.

Nalgonda POPSK appointment is available on the next day of application. Along with Medchal, 80 slots are being released in Nalgonda, Vikarabad, 120 in Warangal, 40 regular appointments are being released in POPSKs in Adilabad, Bhuvanagiri, Khammam, Mahbubnagar, Mahbubabad, Manchiryala, Medak, Siddipet, Vanaparthi, Kamareddy districts and they are available within one or two days.
