Peddapalli: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Durgam Rajesham (55) died of Covid-19 at a private hospital in Karimnagar on Saturday night. Rajesham was the president of TRS incline colony area under Ramagundam Municipal Corporation limits.
Rajesham, who participated in the Nagarjunasagar by-poll campaign, tested positive for the virus. When his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to a private hospital in Karimnagar. He died of a massive heart attack while undergoing treatment.
Ramagundam MLA Korukanti Chander expressed heartfelt condolence over the death of a committed party worker.
