People Are Not Opposed To Scrap Off ₹2000 Notes, Only BRS Leaders Worried: Vijayashanti
Hyderabad, May 23 (Maxim News): Senior BJP leader, Vijayashanti made the sarcastic comments against those leaders particularly of ruling BRS party leaders for campaigning against scrapping of Rs. 2,000 notes, saying there is no opposition from the people, the ‘pink’ (BRS) leaders are raising their eyebrows. 2 lakh crore of Rs. 2,000 notes are ‘pink’ in the name of BRS, you would have carried out the distribution of these extortionate notes all over the country if the notes were not scrapped.
The BJP leader reacted to the aftermath of the Reserve Bank of India cancelling the 2000 rupee note. A Facebook post has been posted saying that some sections have started to feel heartbroken again after the Reserve bank has withdrawn the Rs. 2000 note from circulation. She pointed out that in 2016, when the Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes were cancelled, the Reserve bank clearly said that they are only introducing the Rs. 2000 note as a temporary adjustment.
Vijayashanti said that people who have high notes have been given 4 months to exchange them. Therefore, even though there is no loss to the common man due to this decision, those groups have started campaigning against it as if something is sinking. “When demonetization was done in 2016, there is no telling how many notes were found in the dirty canals, or how much black money was burnt in the fire. Some say that this decision was made to hurt other political parties. If the same was true, this decision would have come out before the Karnataka elections. In fact, if there is anyone who is heartbroken by the cancellation of ‘pink’ notes. It is none other than the ruling BRS force in Telangana. If we look at the rampant corruption and embezzlement in the state, there is no situation where these 2000 note piles can be seen anywhere except near the authorities. (Maxim News)
